Village Information
Cottenham is a pretty village close to The Fens about seven miles from Cambridge and is one of the largest villages to the North of Cambridge.
Cottenham has a very wide range of amenities in the village, including two doctors surgeries, a dental surgery, a library, two village stores and a pharmacy, a primary and secondary school, butchers, bakers and numerous other facilities and local businesses. Transport links are very good as the village is approximately three miles from the A10 and A14 in addition the village has a regular bus services link the village to both Cambridge and Ely.
The Village College provides numerous after school events and facilities including a gym, sports hall, tennis courts and sports field which are commonly used by the local community. The village is also home to the Cottenham Renegades, North Cambridge's only Rugby for pleasure club.
Because Cottenham is so close to Cambridge, but also offers the many advantages of country life, it is a very popular village to live in and like most villages offers a wide range of properties, from the period town houses and villas on the High Street to the more modern developments that are in small pockets on the outskirts of the village.
