Location

Graveley is a small South Cambridgeshire village which sits in a triangle formed by the A1, A14 and A428, 15 miles (24.14 kilometres) from Cambridge, and 7 miles (11.27 kilometres) north-east of St. Neots.

Village Information

The eastern border follows a stream which separates the village from Papworth St Agnes. During the second world war, a section of land within the village boundary was requisitioned for use as a military airfield. The village sign features an image of bombers flying over the farmland which still surrounds it

The village pub, The Three Horseshoes is a family-run free house which offers three real ales as well as a range of beers and wines. 

The owner of Rose Tree Cottage gives lesson on how to make rustic breads, focaccia and cinnamon rolls, using organic flour, baked in a cottage kitchen.

Facilities

The nearest primary school is in Great Paxton which is rated as good by Ofsted and the village secondary school catchment is Longsands Academy in St. Neots.

Graveley fruit farm offers a pick your own service where you can enjoy fun-filled days in the countryside for all the family. The café serves teas, coffees, light snacks and ice cream, with a large children’s adventure play area including a zip wire and a haystack. There are tractor and trailer rides available most weekends and include a trip over the 'off-road' bumps at the back of the farm.

There is a family-run garage with car sales, repairs and car hire service, village hall, church, tile shop and self storage facility.
