Location

The desirable and picturesque village of Dullingham is less than 4 miles from the historic horse racing town of Newmarket and easily commutable to the university city of Cambridge some 15 miles away. There is good access to the A14 which interconnects to the M11 motorway to London and the A11 to the east.

The village benefits from having a train station about a mile from the village centre, as does nearby Newmarket on the branch line connection from Cambridge and Ipswich. Cambridge and Whittlesford Parkway offer direct rail lines into London, with Cambridge North Station and the fastest trains taking under one hour. Stansted International Airport is approximately 40 minutes away.

Village Information

Dullingham is a historic village set within wooded countryside with an extensive Conservation Area. There is the highly regarded Kettlefields Primary School, situated between the villages of Stetchworth and Dullingham. The Ellesmere Centre in Stetchworth is a community centre including post office and community store. It offers a wide range of sports and other clubs such as, Junior football, Athletics, Squash, Tennis, Pilates, Karate, Table tennis, Carpet Bowls, and many other activities. The centre has an astroturf pitch with floodlights, and two grass football pitches.

The village has several amenities including two public houses The Kings Head and The boot Inn, community hall, sports ground with childrens playground and active cricket and football teams. There is a village green, duck pond and fine church.
