Babraham is a quiet village located along the A1307 and is approximately 6 miles (9.66 kilometres) from the city of Cambridge. The location provides easy access to the A11 and M11, as well as Addenbrooke’s hospital and the city centre, via the Park and Ride service located on Babraham Road. The village is home to the Babraham Institute, best known for its research into cell and molecular biology. Situated within the village is Babraham Primary School which was rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in its most recent inspection. Babraham also has one public house, a cricket team and a church.
