Caldecote is a small village located on the west side of Cambridgeshire and around six miles from Cambridge city centre. It is a popular village due to its transport links as you can gain access to the A14, A428 and then onto the A1. It has a sought-after primary school and is located in the secondary school catchment for Comberton Village College which is Ofsted rated outstanding.

Caldecote is located close to several small villages such as Hardwick, Bourn and Toft, and has a strong local community. Cambourne is also very close by offering a supermarket and various other shops. The village plays host to large market every bank holiday at Bourn Airfield which has been running for many years and tends to have up to 400 stalls and visitors from all over the country.

The village has a café, village hall, social club and a hairdresser, a BP petrol station with a shop and a hand car wash and a large playing field which is used for football, tennis and basketball courts which are free for public use.

There are a broad mix of property styles and types from large detached houses and bungalows to smaller one-bedroom houses and flats. It is ideal for a growing family or commuters due to the proximity of Cambridge.
