Location

Barrow is a picturesque village located between the market town of Bury St Edmunds (6 miles) and the historic horse racing town of Newmarket (9 miles). The university city of Cambridge is approximately 25 miles.

For commuters there is a branch line connection from Newmarket to Cambridge and Ipswich. Cambridge and Whittlesford Parkway offer direct rail lines into London, with Cambridge North Station and the fastest trains taking under one hour. Stansted International Airport is approximately 45 minutes away.

The popular village of Barrow has 2 public houses, The Three Horseshoes and the highly regarded Weeping Willow pub/restaurant. There is a playing field at the centre of the village, shops, small Baptist church and an outstanding primary school.
