Location

Hildersham is a picturesque small village between Linton and Great Abington located about 8 miles (12.87 kilometres) south-east of Cambridge and 7.9 miles (12.71 kilometres) from Saffron Walden.

Village Information

A pretty village with a ford running through it, a mixture of period homes and wonderful walks within the woods, known for their display of bluebells in early spring.

On the High street is the Pear & Olive Scratch Kitchen restaurant from the highly awarded, Celebrity Chef Gael, which specializes in highlighting farm to fork food using quality ingredients and preserving the artisan way of cooking.

Facilities

Rated as good in its latest Ofsted inspection, schooling is provided by the neighbouring Great Abington Primary School with secondary schooling at Linton Village College which has an outstanding rating. While the village has few facilities, both Linton and Abington have a good range of services and are both within a five minute drive of Hildersham.
